Whitesboro Fire Department proudly provides fire protection to a population of  Approximately 15,000 people, in an area of 61 square miles. Our protection district includes the City of Whitesboro and the surrounding area of Grayson County.  We also provide rescue and first response to an area of 280 square miles. We are 100% volunteer and operate out of one station. We also have mutual aid agreements with all of Grayson County and western Cooke Counties. We have an ISO rating of 4.  Whitesboro Texas is located between Sherman and Gainesville at Hwy 82 and Hwy 377.  We are about 45 miles North of Denton and 12 miles south of Lake Texoma.
