Whitesboro Fire-Rescue proudly provides fire protection to a
population of
Approximately 15,000 people, in an area of 61 square miles. Along with
rescue and first response to an area of 280 square miles. We operate out of
one station and protect a large residential and rural area. We also have
mutual aid agreements with all of Grayson County and western Cooke
Counties. We have an ISO rating of 5. Whitesboro Texas is located between
Sherman and Gainesville at Hwy 82 and Hwy 377. We are about 45 miles North
of Denton and 12 miles south of Lake Texoma.
